McMichael Sapona Marketing, LLC is the sales organization of McMichael Mills and Sapona Manufacturing. The two companies have teamed up to provide customers with a broad product line of stretch yarns from textured nylon to conventional covered spandex, including innovative new fiber developments such as Tactel® iluminae. The Lycra® Assured yarn manufacturing operations process synthetics including textured nylon, polyester and covered spandex. Process options include stretch or set false twist texturing, package dye tube winding, cone winding, assembly winding, single covering, double covering, air covering, ring twisting, 2 for 1 twisting and knit-deknit dyed yarn. Various options of yarn type, ply, twist, air entanglement, finish and dye are available. On site technical support is provided along with yarn analysis services and free development samples. As a customer driven operation, the company offers same day or next day shipment and immediate action on special orders, tailoring to specific customer needs. Customer applications include sheer hosiery, socks, seamless, circular knit fabric, warp knit fabric, narrow fabric, sewing thread, upholstery, dental floss, lace, medical applications and many others. Represented in Central and South America by TFFTA, on the West Coast by TSR Yarns, in the Midwest by CM Patterson, in the northeast by Steen Sales and locally by Jones Textiles.
